Companion Stories

Companion: (noun) 1. A person or animal with whom one spends a lot of time or with whom one travels. 2. One of a pair of things intended to complement or match each other. (verb) Accompany.

As many writers will agree, it’s nice to have someone to bounce ideas around with. I’m lucky that I have that right in my family group chat: my fellow blogging brother. His blogging vocation is slightly different from mine, but on rare occasions, we in the fiction world get the gift of a companion story from him. I’m calling them Companion Stories because they aren’t sequels or fan fiction (though I have been tempted to make some of his ideas canon) as they’re more like buddies to my stories. And I think he does a really cool job of mirroring the theme/feeling while trekking a different path of the storyline.

Well I couldn’t let y’all miss out! So I’ve paired them up here, and will be linking them in the original stories too. And if you like his groove and want to read more, you can find him here: Blogging Brother

As always, happy reading!

P.S. Have you written a Companion Story with the Quilled Sister? Let a gal know!
